NRH Employees Donate Toys & Food
NRH employees are spreading holiday spirit by donating toys and nonperishable food to needy families. Employees have been collecting the gifts for the past several weeks and will made donations on Friday, December 9, to the Santa Cops Program and to the Community Enrichment Center. Both organizations will distribute the gifts to needy families in time for Christmas.

“It really means a lot to our employees to share with someone in need during the holiday season,” said City Manager Larry Cunningham. “They look forward to the toy and food drives every year because they know it will bring a smile to the face of a child on Christmas morning.”

North Richland Hills residents have also contributed by dropping off donations of toys and food at City facilities.

“It is truly a community effort and we appreciate everyone who has made donations,” Mr. Cunningham said.

The donated toys will be given to the Santa Cops program and the food items will go to the Community Enrichment Center for distribution to needy families. The presentation will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 9, in the lobby of City Hall, 7301 N. E. Loop 820.
