This week another theft at an elementary school. Crime in Colleyville
2/19/04 Theft from a teacher on the job at Bransford Elementary School. The complainant, a resident of 209 Timberline South, advised an unknown person(s) stole her wallet while she was teaching. The Brighton black and brown wallet, with silver trim, was worth $100, and it contained $20 cash, Texas Driver License, child ID card, Mastercharge, and childrens clothing store credit cards.

2/25/04 Theft of a rack of 10 coin-operated vending machines from the Albertsons Grocery at 4000 Glade Rd. The candy and toy filled machines were later found damaged or destroyed in Euless by some dumpsters. The value of the rack, owned by the Folz Vending Company was $916, and the money and merchandise loss was $265.

2/22/04 Theft of a white Chevrolet full-size van from the parking lot of the complainant's business-M&K Sales-at 6605 Colleyville Blvd. The owner, who is from Irving, TX, estimated the value of the van at $3500, but was unclear whether it was an 1983 or 1985 model.


2/19/04 Complainant from 4701 Mill Creek Drive advised a garbage truck had gotten stuck in the mud on her property at 200 Black Dr.  The damage to the grass in the field was estimated at $10.
