Crepe Myrtle Attack in Highland Meadows

2/27/04 Criminal Mischief: Detective David Martz is investigating a complaint from the Highland Meadows Homeowners Association, address listed as 5800 Meadowhill Drive. Suspect, who is known to the HOA, trimmed approximately 33 Crepe Myrtle bushes WAY too close to the ground. The damage is estimated to be $1000. Case of a disgruntled gardener?

3/01/04 Assault with a Cause of Bodily Injury: Officer Chuck Tinsman responded to a report of a white male in a vehicle who threw a 20 oz Gatorade bottle at the victim, Justin Furguson of Bedford. Furguson was riding his bicycle in the 700 block of Glade Road when the partially filled bottle hit him, causing pain and injury.

2/26/04 Report of a Suspicious Person on Chestnut Bend, hanging door flyers. Contact was made with the suspect. No action taken.

2/25/04 Albertsons Grocery, 4000 Glade Road, reported a Forged Check received, in the amount of $150. 

1/20/04 - 2/22/04 Complainant at 3716 Treemont Court advised that unknown person(s) stole items from his attached garage. Taken was an orange Echo power source with a chainsaw attachment ($790), Calloway golf irons, # 2-# 9 ($850), Calloway metal woods ($1200), Calloway golf bag ($75), Titleist Bobby Cameron putter ($275), 1 pair of Footjoy golf shoes ($165), 6 Titleist golf balls ($20), Craftsman electric drills ($120), and a gas powered hedge trimmer ($325). Hopefully the hedge trimmer was not later used in the commission of any criminal decapitations of Crepe Myrtles. Detective Doug Huseman is on the case.

2/19/04 - 2/23/04 Employee of Caliber Collision, 5900 Colleyville Boulevard, who is also a Colleyville resident, reported an unknown person(s) stole her Discover Card and Texas Driver License from her wallet while she was at work.
