Have you noticed that your
Realtor suddenly smells better?
3/02/04-3/06/04 Theft of six unopened bottles of perfume from a home at
4300 Green Meadow East. The residence is for sale and while the residents
were out of town, several realtors had shown the home.
3/07/04 Theft of a gold-colored extended cab 3/4 ton Chevrolet
pickup truck from the driveway of the residence at 8132 Precinct Line
Road. The $8000 truck has a black ranch hand bumper on the rear and
one of those deer skull Trophy Hunter stickers on the rear window.
Maybe the culprits were right out of the "Farside" comic strip.
3/08/04 Disorderly Conduct reported by an observant citizen who
advised a white male suspect urinated in plain view at 6816 Milton
Drive.
3/03/04 Forgery complaint by a 71 year old resident in the 6800
block of Curtis Road. She reported her son stole a book of checks
and then fraudulently passed them. Detective David Martz is investigating.
3/02/04 Another stolen vehicle report. This time it was a black
Honda Civic from the driveway of a home at 4704 Melrose Park Court.
The vehicle was later found damaged and stripped in Bedford.
3/01/04 Identity Theft report from a resident of 6508 Pleasant Run
Road. The victim advised an unknown person obtained her social security number and then used it to open and charge $600 to a credit
card account. Detective Doug Huseman is investigating.
2/28-3/01/04 Burglary of a Building, Forced Entry in the 400 block
of W. McDonwell School Road. Suspect(s) entered a barn without authorization by removing 3 locks to 3 different doors and stole a
Honda water pump ($550), 2 Red max Split Boom weedeaters worth $500
each, Stihl chain saw ($350), Makita grinder ($100), and 3 locks with
an orange chain. Detective Doug Huseman is investigating.
12/31/03-3/05/04 Theft of Services, 500 Ridingwood Trail. Complainants paid suspect $1410 to do work on their pool. Suspect
did approximately 1 hour of work, left and never returned.
2/19/04 Forgery discovered by a resident of 207 E. Mill Valley Dr.
Unknown suspect used the complainant's bank account number, printed
some fraudulent checks, and proceeded to write and cash them right
from the victim's account.
2/27/04-3/05/04 Theft of $15,000 in cash from Hall's Grocery, 4200 Glade
Road. Officer Kevin Walling has the case under investigation.
