Racial Profiling Report
Released from Colleyville PD
Since January 1, 2002 the
Colleyville Police Department, in accordance with teh Texas
Racial Profiling Law, has been collecting police contact data
for the purpose of identifying and responding (if necessary) to
concerns regarding racial profiling practices.
The Colleyville Police Department released data relevant to
public contacts resulting in citations or arrests during the
period January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003.
It was also reported that every sworn officer of the Colleyville
Police Department has received racial profiling training that
complied with regulations. The officers attended training
at Tarrant County College Criminal Justice Training, POSEIT,
Abilene Police Academy or the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement
Management Institute of Texas.
