Police blotter..crime in Colleyville by Linda Baker


1/26/05 Criminal Mischief complaint at the Wings 'N' More restaurant, 5150 State Hwy 121 South. Female resident from Beverly Drive told Officer John Retzos that she had parked her Isuzu Rodeo in the lot, and sometime around 6:00 PM, an unknown person keyed the entire length of the side of the SUV and the top of her hood. Estimate of damage is $500.

1/19/05 Another report from the same restaurant, Wings 'N' More, 5150 State Hwy 121 S. Theft, this time, from an Irving woman. The lady told Officer Brian Thorne that while she was eating, an unknown person stole the checkbook from her purse, which contained about 25 checks, printed with her account number. The value of the checkbook was $10.

1/26/05 Criminal Mischief at 305 Mill Valley Court. Very nice brick mailbox was broken down, according to Officer John Fossett. Damage was estimated to be $400.

1/24/05 Theft by way of a gasoline drive-off at Hall's Grocery, 4200 Glade Road. Officer Clyde Davis took the report which indicated a white male pumped $26.01 worth of gas at approximately 3:00 PM and drove away without paying.

1/23/05 Burglary alarm sounded at the Terrace Retreat Salon and Day Spa, 5201 Colleyville Blvd. Officer Bob Etheridge responded and observed an open window. After entering the building, he found no signs of illegal entry, and the building was resecured.

1/22/05 Forgery at the Albertsons Grocery, 4801 Colleyville Blvd. Black male attempted to cash a fraudulent check about 9:20 AM. Officer Isaac Soto reports the suspect then fled the store while the cashier was away from the counter.

1/21/05 Criminal Mischief reported by a representative of Paul Stover Custom Homes. House at 509 Liberty Court had holes kicked in a wall of sheetrock, and what appeared to Officer Brian Thorne to be knife cuts in the drywall also. Damage around $500.

1/19/05 Attempted Burglary of a 24' shipping container parked at 5601 Colleyville Boulevard, owned by Cable Electric of North Richland Hills. Officer Ronald McFadden reported that unknown person(s) made entry by cutting though the lock hasps with a bolt cutter, but that no property was taken.

1/16/05 Criminal Mischief report taken by Officer Isaac Soto, regarding eggs thrown at a residence on Scarborough Lane Court. The complainant indicated it was a "substantial inconvenience to clean up." Monetary damages were not reported.

ROWDY DARRELL ALNUTT, Colleyville warrants for Expired License Plate, No Drivers License, No Inspection, and three Failure To Appear. Charged by Officer Gregory Prewitt at 10:52 PM on 1/25/05. Per Judge, released at 12:55 AM on 1/27/05.

MICHAEL VERNON ESCOBAR, Colleyville Capias warrant for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, and Expired License Plate. Charged by Officer Gregory Prewitt at 10:51 PM on 1/25/05. Per Judge, released at 12:50 AM on 1/26/05.

CECILIO CHAYNE CASANOVA, Hurst warrant for Speeding. Charged by Officer John Retzos at 1:02 PM on 1/25/05. Paid fine, released at 12:35 PM on 1/26/05.

SHANEKA NICOLE REED, Tarrant County Sheriffs Office warrant for Assault With Bodily Injury-Family Member. Two Fort Worth warrants for no Motor Vehicle Registration, three warrants for No Operators License, three warrants for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility. Charged at 11:35 PM on 1/24/05 by Officer Bob Etheridge. Transferred to Tarrant County Sheriff on 1/25/05.

DAVID WAYNE VASQUEZ, Colleyville PD-No Seat Belt, Failure To Appear. Grapevine warrant for Theft of Service. Abilene Sheriffs Office warrants for Criminal Trespass and Theft By Check. Charged at 11:02 AM on 1/24/05. Bonded out on 1/24/05.

ADAM J. CLARKSON, Colleyville PD-Theft between $50-$500. Charged at 2:52 PM on 1/23/05 by Officer John Retzos. Paid Bond, released at 3:41 PM on 1/25/05.

CHARLES DELBERT CHAMBERS, Colleyville PD-Theft of Service, Between $20-$500. Charged by Officer Isaac Soto at 1:34 PM. Released from Custody-Medical, at 8:20 PM on 1/22/05.

ROCKY EUGENE PRESLEY, Westlake warrants for Speeding and Failure To Appear. Charged by Officer Jennifer Holderead at 12:31 AM on 1/22/05. Paid Fine, released at 1:20 AM on 1/22/05.

MITSHA GUILBAUD DALMACY, Colleyville warrant for Disorderly Conduct (Fighting), and Failure To Appear. Charged by School Resource Officer Gary Moore at 3:20 PM on 1/21/05. Sat Out Time, released at 12:10 AM on 1/23/05.
