February 13, 2005 Parking lot crimes at La Hacienda Ranch restaurant are by now a familiar problem 2/07/05 Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, forced entry, at 5250 Highway 121 South, the now-familiar address of the La Hacienda Ranch restaurant. Oklahoma man in town for business, parked his rented Chevrolet approximately 150' from the attended valet parking podium in the lot. He then removed his company-owned IBM laptop computer from the seat of the car and locked it in the trunk before entering the restaurant to dine. When the man returned to his vehicle, about 7:15 PM, he discovered the back passenger window had been shattered, and an unknown offender had entered the car to press the trunk-release button next to the steering column to pop the trunk lid. The brazen thief then stole the $2000 laptop, owned by the Cisco Corporation in San Jose, California. In addition to the theft, Officer Greg Prewitt reports damage to the rental car is estimated at $600. 2/09/05 Yard art was stolen from 3309 Fox Glen Drive during the night. Officer John Retzos responded to the home to find a stone frog, ceramic angel and a black stand with a glass globe had been taken by unknown suspect(s). The decorative items were worth $100. 2/08/05 Criminal Mischief report from a employee of a new residential development east of Bluebonnet Cemetery. Pink Jeep Wrangler was spotted at 5800 Broughton Lane, doing "donuts" over the loose, wet soil of graded pad sites. White 20 year old female who was driving the pink Jeep, will be charged in court with the damages, which were estimated to be approximately $1000. 2/08/05 Criminal Mischief performed on a Dodge Ram pickup truck, parked at the curb at 4306 Green Meadow West. Officer Kevin Maddux indicated the vehicle had been pelted with eggs sometime during the night. 2/07/05 Criminal Mischief complaint at 3808 Wayne Drive. Five trash cans full of leaves raked up by the 66 year-old resident had been deliberately hit by unknown vehicle. 2/05/05 Criminal Mischief to a grave marker sometime since January 29, 2005. Widow who lives on Windswept Trail notified Bluebonnet Cemetery officials and police that an unknown person(s) removed the metal vase secured to the marker at her husband's gravesite, and broke the marker. Damage to the marker was $1200. Grand Prairie PD warrants for Speeding, No Valid Motor Vehicle Inspection, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility. Charged at 10:37 PM on 2/08/05 by Officer Craig Terrell. Not released as of 2/11/05. MATTHEW HOWARD CONEDERA, Colleyville PD-Possession of a Controlled Substance, PG3, under 28 grams in a Drug Free Zone. Charged by School Resource Officer Gary Moore at 11:40 AM on 2/08/05. Tarrant County Sheriff Office, bond, released at 1:00 PM on 2/09/05. THOMAS BRANDON TINSLEY, North Richland Hills PD warrants for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, Failure To Appear. Charged by Officer Gregory Prewitt at 12:06 AM on 2/08/05. Posted bond, released at 1:40 AM on 2/08/05. KEITH MILTON McDONALD, 49, of 2813 Longhorn in Grapevine. Colleyville PD-Unsafe Lane Change. Also, 3 additional citations were issued for violation of the Open Container Law, Failure to Change Address, and Speeding between 6800 and 7200 State Highway 26. Charged at 2:28 AM on 2/07/05 by Officer Todd Hildebrandt. Bond, released on 2/07/05. REBECCA DENISE McCABE, Colleyville PD, Capias warrant for Speeding.
