February 27, 2005 Numerous vehicles damaged from
rash of rock throwing numbskulls. Police

2/24/05 Criminal Mischief by way of a thrown rock at 6200 Highland Hills Lane. Resident reported to Officer Malinda Spence at 11:20 PM, that an unknown vandal smashed the back window of his black Nissan X-Terra while it was parked in his driveway. Pieces of the rock were found in the driveway. Damages are estimated at $1500.
2/24/05 Similar crime committed at 5500 Dusty Court earlier in the evening, at 9:28 PM. Reporting person told Officer John Arenz that she looked out her residence window and saw a white male exit his vehicle, pick up a landscaping rock and throw it through the front windshield of a pickup truck parked on her street. She said the suspect then fled. Damage to the white Ford F150 truck is estimated at $500.
2/20/05 Resident of Quail Run reported he was driving down 3300 Glade Road at approximately 2:30 AM, when his vehicle was struck by a rock. He believes it was thrown from a field. The vehicle was not damaged.
2/19/05 Another male resident, of Shadycreek Lane, was driving down 3300 Glade Road in his brand new 2005 Ford pickup truck, about 1:00 AM, when the vehicle was struck by a large rock. The rear passenger side window was damaged. The victim suspects the rock was thrown from a field. Officer John Arenz reports suspects were not located. Damage estimate to the truck was not known.
2/18/05 Complainant advised Officer Ronald McFadden that while driving down 3800 Glade Road at 10:30 PM, his red Chevrolet 2500 truck was struck by an unknown object. The hood sustained damages of $500. The complainant lives nearby on Oak Knoll.
2/22/05 Trespassing complaint at a construction site at 7405 Jo Will St. Officer John Fossett took a report from a representative of Salyer & Associates of Grapevine, who stated there had been an unauthorized person trespassing on the property, setting small fires. No damages were determined.
2/22/05 Criminal Mischief in the parking lot of Colleyville Heritage High School, 5401 Heritage Ave. Victim reported unknown suspect(s) poured a soft drink and sprayed Taco Bell hot sauce on his black Ford Mustang, sometime between 8:00 AM and 4:05 PM. Damages were estimated to be $20.
2/23/05 Criminal Trespass at Planet Beach, 6504 Colleyville Boulevard. Officer Chuck Tinsman responded to a report of a disturbance between an employee and her employer. The ex-employee was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning at 6:00 PM.
2/23/05 Unknown person stole mail from the mailbox at 4600 Behrens Road, according to the female resident.
2/21/05 Hit and Run in the parking lot of the Walgreens Drug Store at 4403 Colleyville Blvd. Female resident from Hurst reported to Officer Chuck Tinsman that her vehicle was struck by another car while it was parked, about 7:20 PM. The victim confronted the suspect, but the suspect fled the scene.
2/18/05 Walgreens Drug Store, 3830 Glade Road, reported a suspicious white male frequenting the store, never purchasing anything. No police action was taken.
2/20/05 Attempted Credit Card Abuse. Male resident of 2300 Highland Meadows Drive reported to Officer John Fossett that unknown suspect(s) attempted to charge airline tickets online, using his credit card number. The charge was not approved.
2/19/05 Sgt. Clyde Davis observed a vehicle leave the roadway about 9:00 PM and drive across several residential lots marked for construction on Providence Road, in Whittier Heights. Three teenage occupants were stopped and given a warning. No visible signs of damage on the property.
2/18/05 Criminal Trespass complaint at 6304 Regiment Place. Female victim reported to Officer Tim Osborn about 4:30 PM, that she observed a white male, approximately 15-16 years old, standing in her backyard holding a metal post about 24-30 inches long. Suspect fled on a bicycle.
2/11/05 Theft of 17 metal directional signs from West McDonwell School Road, the roadway leading to David Bagwell's residential developments at Whittier Heights and Old Grove. The value of the 18"x 24" signs is $1700, according to the report filed by Officer Ronald McFadden.
2/10/05 Criminal Mischief at 5201 Bransford Road. City Parks Department employee reported two Ford trucks had the driver's side windows broken out by unknown suspect(s) during the previous night. Damages to the two vehicles is $255.
