COLLEYVILLE -- Susan Jane Forbes, 57, passed away Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, after a long illness.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Susan was born March 3, 1947, in Chicago, Ill. She was raised in Roswell, N.M., and her family moved to Colleyville in 1980. She loved her family and extended family very much. Susan was a member of Highland Meadows Christian Church in Colleyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. LeRoy and Jeanne Fry; grandmother, Hazel Boellner; and father-in-law, J.C. Forbes.
Survivors: Husband of 41 years, Clyde Forbes; children, Dale Forbes and wife, Valarie, of Colleyville and Leslie Icard and husband, Todd, of Keller; grandsons, Randy and Scott; sisters, Linda Milstead of Reno, Nev., Marty Fry of Roswell, N.M., and Jody Alpers of Roswell, N.M.; brother, Charlie Fry of Alamogordo, N.M.; mother-in-law, Annie Forbes of Colleyville; and numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-laws.
