Kitchen Remodeling Contractor Takes the Money and Runs...
11/22/05 Theft reported at 1216 Chatsworth Drive, by the female homeowner, 35, who gave a check to a representative of Empire Cabinets in the amount of $10,400 for remodeling work in The Lakes of Somerset home. The suspect who took the check, Lucky Grana, never completed the work according to the complainant. Detective Kevin Walling is following up.
11/29/05 - 11/30/05 Theft from the front yard at 4605 Green Oaks Drive. Victim told Officer John Fossett that two stands of multi-colored Christmas lights worth $13.98 were stolen between 7:00 PM and 7:30 AM.
11/27/05 -11/28/05 Burglary of a Building under construction at 7012 Reverchon Court. Sometime between 5:30 PM and 6:30 AM, unknown suspects stole a 2 ton Carrier air conditioner from the home. Officer Todd Hildebrandt's report indicates the unit was worth $3000.
11/20/05 - 11/26/05 Criminal Mischief at 1905 Thames Trail, in the Cascades of Timarron. Victim told Officer Chuck Tinsman that an unknown person drove a vehicle through the front yard, damaging the grass and putting black marks and dirt on the sidewalk.
11/26/05 Criminal Mischief to a mailbox at 6012 L.D. Lockett Road. Officer Gwen Parker took the report, which lists the damage to the toney white mailbox to be $250.
11/18/05 - 11/21/05 Theft of street signs from 400 Oak Crest Hill. City employee told Officer Craig Terrell that two blue street signs, one with "Oak Crest Hill" and one for 5600 "Bransford Road" ($66), one "Stop" sign ($32), with pole ($25), cap ($18.95), and clamps ($24.95) were taken between 8:30 AM and 8:01 AM over that weekend.
11/23/05 Animal bite report at 6012 Chestnut Bend in Remington Park. Female victim, 60, told Officer Gwen Parker that she was walking her two dogs along a nature path when she was attacked by another dog.
11/23/05 - 11/24/05 Criminal Mischief at 3908 Ambleside Drive in the Windview subdivision. Resident told Sgt. Billy McCullough that an unknown suspect threw a raw egg at his parked vehicle during the night.
11/21/05 -11/22/05 Burglary of a Building at 5401 Colleyville Blvd. The brand new "Drop It Off to Sell It-Ebay Store" was forcefully entered, according to the reporting person, Bryce E. Hudnall, 34. The backdoor was found open, ceiling tiles remove, and it appeared that the suspect(s) went through the utility closet, disabling the electric meter. Officer Todd Hildebrandt reports that a computer, printer, checks, a pair of Justin boots, cameras, toys, and a paint ball gun were among the stolen items, which are still being inventoried. Detective David Martz is investigating the incident.
10/22/05 - 11/02/05 Credit or Debit Card Abuse report from a victim at 3507 Crossgate Circle South in Woodland Hills. She discovered $769.34 worth of charges made on her American Express account without her authorization, according to Officer Raymon Cannon's report. Detective Kevin Walling is investigating the incident.
