Cops on lookout for man with a hankering to grill at night
and do a little animal medical care
12/04/05 Theft from the Albertsons Grocery at 4000
Glade Road. Officer John Arenz responded at 9:56 PM to
a report of a subject running from the store pushing a full
cart of what was later determined to be $328.43 worth
of groceries. The suspect fled in the parking lot, and
abandoning the loaded cart. There were
approximately 75 different items in the cart, including staples such
as Kingsford charcoal, battery powered lanterns, and
animal worm medicine. Officers were unable to locate
the wanna-be thief.
12/03/05 - 12/05/05 Criminal Mischief at 5112
Auburndale Ave., when unknown suspect(s) broke out 15
windows on a home under construction in the Heritage Glen
subdivision. Spokesman for Cadence Custom
Homes told Officer Craig Terrell that the damage would
cost the builder $2,500.
12/03/05 Theft at 3901 Colleyville Boulevard, the 99
Cent Or Less Store. Haltom City woman, 24, told
Officer Brian Thorne that while she had been shopping
in the store between 11:31 AM and 12:20 PM, an
unknown suspect stole her black Nine West wallet from her
cart. The purse, valued at $15, contained a TX
Drivers License, Social Security card, temporary checks,
Chase debit card, and Chase savings deposit slips.
12/04/05 Criminal Mischief at 3204 Wilton Woods
Court in Woodland Hills. Sometime between 2:00 AM
and 6:00 AM, unknown person(s) broke out the back window
of the homeowner's 2002 Ford Escape. The female
complainant told Officer Todd Hildebrandt that the
window-the defrosting type-would cost $500 to replace.
12/03/05 Criminal Mischief to parked vehicles at
4806 Cranbrook Drive East, in Cranbrook Estates.
Sometime between 9:00 PM and 10:40 PM, three vehicles
that had been parked at the address were
vandalized by unknown person(s) who put egg substances on
the cars and then dumped bags of leaves over them. Officer
Gwen Parker took the report from the victims, Vincent
Herrera, 18, of North Richland Hills, Daniel Fry, 17, of
Southlake, and John Grigson, 18, of Colleyville.
Detective Kevin Walling is following up the investigation.
11/27/05 - 11/28/05 Criminal Mischief reported at
7013 David Lane in Warwick Parc. The complainant
advised Officer Tim Osborn that unknown suspect(s) had
kicked in the back door of a residence, sometime between
7:30 AM and midnight, causing $500 damage. Nothing
was taken from the house.
12/01/05 Lost cell phone reported to Officer Tim
Osborn at 5401 Heritage Avenue, Colleyville Heritage
High School. The phone was a Motorola RAZR V3; value
not determined.
11/21/05 Stolen cell phone reported at 5401 Heritage
Avenue, Colleyville Heritage High School. The
complainant told Officer Kevin Maddux that the
Samsung phone, model SGHX427M, was worth $79.
11/18/05 Theft of a cell phone, this time from a
juvenile at Colleyville Middle School, 1100 Bogart Drive.
Officer Isaac Soto's report said the Samsung A650 phone
was worth $100.
