Keller – District 98 Republican State Representative Vicki Truitt filed today for re-election. She has represented Northeast Tarrant County in the Texas House since 1999.
“I am privileged to work with and serve the people of District 98,” Representative Truitt remarked. “I look forward to continuing my service on their behalf and will continue to be a strong conservative voice for our communities and our families.”

Representative Truitt is a life-long resident of Northeast Tarrant County, where she is a small business owner. She and her husband Jim have two adult daughters and five grandchildren.
As a member of the Texas House, Representative Truitt sits on the state budget writing House Appropriations Committee and the House Committee on Public Health. Recently, Representative Truitt was appointed Vice-Chair of the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission, which reviews the financial and operational effectiveness of state agencies, and as such, will lead Sunset activities in the Texas House.
House District 98 includes the cities of Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake, Keller, Westlake, and far North Forth Worth.
