KELLER RUN IN DARK DRAWS MORE THAN 800 RUNNERS

Natalie Nalepa of Austin was the top female finishing runner in the Run in the Dark 5K
The Run in the Dark 5k and 1 mile fun run benefits Keller's Community Storehouse.  More than 800 runners participated in the evening event with 611 entered in the sanctioned 5K run.

Below the more than 600 runners are positioned at the finish line ready for the 5K or approximately 3.1 mile run.

The event drew a crowd estimated at 2,500 to enjoy the run, food and entertainment at Bear Creek Park in Keller.  State Representative Vicki Truitt was attended, leaving the rigors of the Special Session in Austin for a day, to assist in the ceremonies.
