CHHS Student is dead at 15
Stephanie Shannon of the 1900 block of Fairfield in
Grapevine was pronounced dead at 9.15 pm on Wednesday
December 7th. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner
ruled the death to be a suicide.

City Manager Named
Interim City Manager gets call

Bruno
Rumbelow has been named Grapevine’s City Manager.
Rumbelow, 43, has worked for the City for 8 years, fist
as Assistant City Manager and as Acting City Manager for
the past six months. Prior to coming to Grapevine, he
served as Assistant City Administrator of Fort Smith,
Arkansas, City Manager of Texarkana, Arkansas, and City
Administrator of Neodesha, Kansas.

Police Department’s Santa Cops Program
The
Grapevine Police Department is hosting its annual Santa
Cops Program. The Grapevine Santa Cops sole purpose is
to provide a Christmas for children who would not have
one otherwise. The toys are given to economically
disadvantaged children in the community.

Sing
before your supper this Friday evening, December 2, at
the Palace Theatre, 300 S. Main Street, in Grapevine.
The Palace Arts Center Committee, in conjunction with
the Grapevine Heritage Foundation, presents
"Christmas in Texas" which includes a concert
followed by dinner.

Holiday
festivities now illuminating Grapevine's Historical Main
Street..parade is December 1st
Thousands
of merrymakers will witness an enchanting display of
over 100 colorfully lighted floats that will pass
through historic downtown to the tune numerous marching
bands playing holiday music during North Texas’
largest lighted Christmas parade, The Grapevine Parade
of Lights. The parade begins at 7 p.m. on December 1 at
Main St. and Vine St. and heads north on Main St. to
Wall St. The parade is free and open to the public.
