CHHS Student Lacy Lynch Stars in Campus Production
|Noises Off features a cast of nine undergraduate Baylor theatre students and is directed by Dr. Stan Denman, chair of the Department of Theatre Arts at Baylor. The play focuses on the hilarious antics of the characters who are Lacy Lynch, a 2002 graduate of Colleyville Heritage High School, plays a double role in the production. Lacy is a senior theater performance major and is in the Baylor Honors College. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and was recently inducted into the Order of Omega Pan-Hellenic honor society.
The Gorman Report has rated Baylorís Theater Arts Program in the top 25 in the nation, and first among all universities in Texas and the Big 12.
Noises Off performed November 17-20 and will continue December 1-4 at the Jones Theatre located in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center, 1401 S. University Parks Drive in Waco. Thursday through Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. Price of admission is $10 per person. For more information call the box office at (254) 710-1865.
