Southlake Program for the Involvement of Neighborhoods (SPIN) – scheduled meetings:

· SPIN Neighborhood Meeting. SPIN Neighborhood #10 will host a meeting to discuss a proposed residential development of a 9 acre tract at 331 W. Highland. All interested residents are invited to attend. Monday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m., Town Hall third floor meeting rooms. For more information contact Assistant to the City Manager Ben Thatcher at (817) 748-8005.

· SPIN Neighborhood Meeting: SPIN Neighborhood 7 and 8 will host a meeting to discuss the site plan for St. John’s Baptist Church to be located at the southwest corner of South Kimball Ave. and Crooked Lane. All interested residents are invited to attend. Monday, April 18 at 8:00 p.m., Town Hall third floor meeting rooms. For more information contact Assistant to the City Manager Ben Thatcher at (817) 748-8005.

· SPIN Neighborhood Meeting. SPIN Neighborhood 7 and 8 will host a meeting to discuss a proposed zoning change and single family residential development for 616 and 620 S. Kimball Ave. (south of Dawson Middle School). All interested residents are invited to attend. Monday, April 18 at 9:00 p.m. (or immediately following 8:00 p.m. meeting), Town Hall third floor meeting rooms. Southlake Public Library events: 

· Special Storytime - Girl Scout Troop 3305 will present a special family storytime in the library on Friday, April 22 at 4:30 p.m. The Scouts will offer five multicultural folk stories, including a Sri Lankan tale, “The Bird and Her Babies.” They have been working on the stories and making props for the last year. This program is the culmination of the service project that will earn them a Bronze Award, the highest award possible for Junior Girl Scouts. Join us for a fun-filled afternoon, and help us celebrate this great achievement by these dedicated twelve-year olds and their leaders.
