6/12/07 Burglary of a Motor Vehicle
by forced entry at La Hacienda Ranch
Restaurant at 5250 State Highway 121
South. Female victim, 19, a
resident of the Fox Meadows
subdivision in Colleyville, told
Officer Ron McFadden that she parked
her white Volkswagen Beetle in the
restaurant lot at 10:45 AM on
Tuesday morning. When she returned
to her car at 1:00 PM, she
discovered that unknown suspect(s)
had damaged the door and shattered
the right rear window on the
"Bug". Stolen was her black Guess
purse ($30) and brown Louis Vuitton
wallet ($100) containing her Social
Security card, Texas Tech student
ID, Bank of America credit card and
a Fort Worth Credit Union debit
card.
The popular restaurant has some
parking spaces on the easily
seen side of the building, but most
of parking lot is at the rear
with very limited visibility from
the building. The lot has
frequently been the site of
vehicular burglaries. Detective
David Martz is investigating the
incident.
12/11/06 - 6/12/07 Ordinance
Violation reported at the First
Baptist Church of Colleyville, 5300
Colleyville Boulevard. Andrew C.
Sylvester, 22, who lives nearby on
Pleasant Run Road, advised Officer
Bill Hudgins that unknown suspects
have been playing basketball on
the outdoor church courts until 2-3
AM several times over the past six
months, resulting in intensely
bright lights shining on his
residence.
6/10/07 - 6/11/07 Theft from the
Subway Sandwich shop at 5600
Colleyville Boulevard. Reporting
person told Officer John Arenz that
$297 had gone missing from the cash
till. Detective Bob Etheridge is
conducting an investigation and
questioning parties who had access
to the area.
6/10/07 - 6/11/07 Criminal Mischief
at 2200 Woodstock Drive in the
Windview subdivision. Homeowner,
41, advised Officer John Arenz
that sometime between midnight and
7:49 AM, the rear window on his blue
GMC Yukon had been broken out by
person(s) unknown. Early damage
estimate is $200.
6/10/07 Criminal Mischief at 6114
Pleasant Run Road. Complainant
advised Officer John Retzos that
sometime between 3:00 AM and 10:39
AM, unknown suspect(s) damaged the
female juvenile's black Nissan
X-terra. Scratches were found all
over the passenger side and hood on
the SUV. Early damage estimates
are $2500. Detective Bob Etheridge
is conducting the investigation.
6/09/07 Ordinance Violation at
Lifetime Fitness, 1221 Church
Street. Resident of Nueces Court in
the neighboring Riverwalk
residential development advised
Officer Gary Moore of an
exceptionally loud D.J. and music
emanating from the business,
beginning at 1:30 PM and still
continuing at 5:00 PM.
6/08/07 Burglary of a Motor Vehicle
at 6810 Providence Road in Whittier
Heights. Homeowner, 57, advised
Officer Patrick Starrett that a set
of Taylor Made golf clubs ($1800)
and Garmin GPS system ($600) had
been stolen from his vehicle.
Detective Kevin Walling is
conducting the investigation.
