Vehicle Burglars Steal Expensive French Designer Purse From Unlocked BMW...
2/08/08 Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, not by forced entry, at 4800 Stafford Drive in the Stafford Heights subdivision. The homeowner, Cynthia Dunham, 50, advised Officer Gwen Parker that sometime between midnight and 8:00 AM, unknown suspect(s) entered her unlocked black 2007 BMW X5 sport utility vehicle and stole her designer purse and contents. The brown Louis Vuitton purse ($1,000) contained a matching Louis Vuitton wallet ($550) and Louis Vuitton day planner ($300), Coach prescription sunglasses ($500), Texas Drivers License, Social Security card, 5 credit cards and $280 in cash. Detective Bob Etheridge is following up on the case.
2/08/08 Theft of another purse at 2600 Hall Johnson Road at the Highland Meadows Christian Church. Grapevine resident, Diane Cauwels, 48, reported to Officer Tim Osborn that her brown mini-backpack style purse was stolen from inside the building, sometime between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM. The purse contained her Texas Drivers License, an ATM card, blank checks, 2 credit cards, an Aetna Health insurance card, 2 house and car keys, and $50 in cash. Detective Kevin Walling is investigating the incident.
2/08/08 Burglary of two Motor Vehicles, not by forced entry, at 4201 York Drive in the Plymouth Hills subdivision. Homeowners Kenneth and Susan Deville advised Officer Gwen Parker that both of their unlocked vehicles had been entered by unknown suspect(s) sometime between midnight and 8:42 AM. The thieves took approximately $15 in coins and 2 CDs ($20) from the victims' 2005 blue Toyota 4-Runner and silver 2007 Dodge Ram.
2/10/08 Failure to Stop and Leave Identification report from 3920 Jackson Road. Carl Waychoff advised Officer Sharon Coleman that sometime between 6:20 AM and 4:15 PM, unknown suspect damaged approximately 15' of fencing around his property near the roadway. The early damage estimate is $1,000. Detective David Martz is following up on the incident.
