In further investigation by LNO, the only local church with the name "Champion" that was found is associated with Colleyville's most famous former Pastor, Frank Harber, now listed as the Senior Pastor at the Champion Gate Church. According to the website, Harber's church services are located at the Marriott Solana Hotel in Westlake. When calling the work number provided by Klimpel, the phone appears to be a cell phone and the caller is greeted by a repeat of the telephone number and a request a message be left.
Checking the Champion Gate Church website, the link to the church's staff page lists only Frank Harber.
The Champions Gate Church was incorporated in September 2006 and lists its Directors as Harber, Jeff Audas of Highland Village, Jeff Witcher of Alpharetta, Georgia, Larry Jones of Oklahoma City and Marcus Lamb, a Colleyville resident.
According to Texas Criminal Records, one of Harber's current Directors, Jeff Audas, had his on bout with the bottle 20 years ago. Records show that he was convicted of Public Intoxication after being charged by the small town Brazoria, Texas Police Department.
