Remington Park
was the subdivision of
choice for vehicle
burglars in the early
morning hours
Tuesday. Three reports
came in to police from
residents who discovered
a window smashed in on
their locked cars,
and their electronic and
personal equipment stolen...
8/19/08 Burglary of a
Motor Vehicle at 201
Capriole Court in
Remington Park. Charles
Hogan, 41, told Officer
Brian Wilson that
sometime between
midnight and 7:00 AM,
unknown suspect(s) broke
out the rear left window
on his black 2000
Mercedes Benz S-500.
Once entry had been made
into the sedan, the
burglar took a blue
Swiss Gear rolling
computer bag ($150),
Dell laptop ($1,000),
Motorola pearl colored
Krazor cell phone
($200), and a Sony
Cybershot digital camera
($700). Detective David
Martz is investigating
this incident as well as
the next two car
burglaries.

Burglary of a Motor
Vehicle at 202 Hays
Court in Remington
Park. Ali Maddox, 45,
advised Officer John Retzos
that unknown suspect(s)
had broken out the the
window during the night
on her maroon Ford
Explorer ($200) and took
a black Panasonic G300
video camera ($300).
8/19/08 Burglary of a
Motor Vehicle at 6000
Chestnut Bend in
Remington Park. Rijo
Thomas Philip, 27, told
Officer Craig Terrell
that unknown suspect(s)
broke out the passenger
side window on his 1998
Honda Accord ($400),
sometime between
midnight and 7:00 AM.

Government Instrument at
4501 Colleyville
Boulevard at the
O'Reilly Auto Parts.
Store employee contacted
Officer John Arenz at
4:47 PM to report a
suspect attempted to
pass a counterfeit $100
bill.
8/18/08 Theft from 6007
Colleyville Boulevard at
the Etheridge Auto
Center. Local resident,
Steven Trachier, 53,
advised Officer John
Arenz that a Catalytic
converter had been
stolen froma black
Toyota Tundra pickup
truck($225).
8/18/08 Burglary of a
Motor Vehicle at 1221
Church Street at the
Lifetime Fitness Center
parking lot. Keller
woman, 52, told Officer
John Arenz that unknown
suspect(s) broke out the
rear drivers side window
on her light blue 2006
BMW ($490) and stole a
cloth bag ($10) with a
Tupperware sandwich
container ($10), along
with a book
titled "Katherine"
($15).
8/18/08 Criminal
Mischief at 1206 John
McCain Road. Christina
Read, 44, told Officer
Craig Terrell that her
brick mailbox
had been knocked down,
causing $1,000 in
damages.
