Western Hills Home Burglary Nets
Thief $18,000 in rings
3/01/10 - 3/05/10 Theft Between $1,500 < $20,000 at
504 Frontier Court in Western Trails. Homeowner
advised Officer Jeff Wheeler that two yellow gold
rings worth $18,000 had been stolen. One was gold
with diamond settings and the other ring was a
combination engagement/wedding ring. Detective
David Martz is investigating the theft.
3/13/10 Burglary of a Building by forced entry at
6500 Colleyville Boulevard at the Pack & Stack
Self-Storage business. Jeffrey Wallace,
60, reported to Officer Jennifer Chavez that burglar(s)
had cut a large metal chain on the electric security
gate in order to enter the premises and then removed
furniture and other stored household items. The
stolen items include 2 nightstands ($300), gray
swivel desk chair ($50), brown leather love seat
($700), 2 brown leather club chairs ($800), coffee
table ($150), 2 end tables ($70), BBQ grill ($300),
box containing bathroom items (n/a), lampshade and
base (n/a), brushed silver metal towel rack ($20),
silver colored trash can ($80), white plastic
laundry basket ($20), bathroom trash can ($10), and
a small metal trash can ($5). Detective Kevin
Walling is following up the burglary.
3/14/10 Burglary of a Building by forced entry at
5009 Heritage Avenue at the Colleyville Internal
Medicine offices. Sheriff Rizkalla, 32, advised
Officer Josh Johnson that sometime between 9:20 AM
and 5:55 PM on Sunday, the side entry door had been
forcefully damaged ($1,000) by unknown suspect(s) to
gain entry into the building. Once inside, the
burglars broke out two solid wood interior office
doors ($1,000) and stole four Hewlett Packard
computers (n/a) and two HP monitors (n/a).
Detective David Martz is investigating.
3/17/10 - 3/18/10 Burglary of a Motor Vehicle by
forced entry at 5401 Heritage Avenue at Colleyville
Heritage High Scholl. Officer Todd Hildebrandt's
report at 5:00 PM stated the passenger side window
on a red 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup was broken out
($200) and a JVC stereo ($300), two 10" MTX
subwoofers ($400), and a Garmin GPS ($200) were
stolen from the truck. Detective David Martz is
following up.
3/17/10 - 3/18/10 Criminal Mischief at 2400 Arbor
Trail in Arbor Estates. James R. Alotto reported to
Officer Todd Hildebrandt that unknown suspect(s)
spray painted his privacy fence with graffiti,
causing $20 in damage).
2/28/10 - 3/16/10 Burglary of a Building by forced
entry at 5017 Thompson Terrace. Afrim L. Bojku, 46,
of Hurst reported to Cpl. Gary Moore that suspect(s)
had damaged the rear door of the vacant
building. Investigative Assistant Toni Oyler is
following up.
3/14/10 - 3/16/10 Burglary of a Habitation, not by
forced entry at 7100 Walden Court. Ann Hardy, 76,
reported to Officer Craig Terrell that her Apple 17"
Powerbook laptop had been stolen ($3,478).
Detective David Martz is investigating.
3/13/10 Theft at 4200 Glade Road at Hall's
Grocery. Charlie Wayne Hall, 58, told Officer Amy
Van Zandt that two 18 packs of Bud Light ($38.98)
had been stolen.
3/14/10 Burglary of a Habitation, not by forced
entry at 3400 Fox Glen Drive in Fox Meadows. Albert
Glen Frohner, 66, told Officer Josh Johnson that
sometime between 12:15 PM and 1:45 PM, a large
guitar in a black fabric case (n/a) was taken from
his garage. Investigative Assistant Toni Oyler is
following up.
3/10/10 - 3/14/10 Theft from 804 Montreux Avenue in
Clairemont. Nancy Trofholz advised Officer Jeff
Wheeler that the 5'x4" actuator arm of her wrought
iron driveway gate ($300) had gone missing.

3/19/10 Theft at 5401 Heritage Avenue at
Colleyville Heritage High School. School Resource
Officer Gary Moore took the report from a juvenile
female who said her Apple iPhone ($250) had been
stolen between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
3/18/10 Hit and Run at 1112 Glade Road in the
parking lot at the Sean Lauren Salon. Pat A. Peters
of Bedford reported to Officer Todd Hildebrandt that
his brown 2007 Chevrolet Suburban was struck by an
unknown person, sometime between 11:06 AM and 12:15
PM. The lens cover on the taillight was broken
($35).
3/16/10 Hit and Run on a mailbox at 204 Mill Wood
Drive in Mill Creek Estates. Donald R. Biggs
advised Officer Jeff Wheeler that his brick mailbox
($1,000) had been destroyed by a vehicle.
3/02/10 Theft at 5401 Heritage Avenue at
Colleyville Heritage High School. School Resource
Officer Gary Moore took the report from a juvenile
female who said her iPod Touch ($200) had been
stolen between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM.
