Beginning at
8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27 to 6:00
a.m. on Monday, April 30, NorthGate
Constructors will conduct a major
traffic switch at the north exit of DFW
International Airport that will change
the way motorists leave the airport.
The
following are the major changes that
will occur after the traffic switch, as
well as the associated closures during
the switch:
1.
When exiting northbound
International Parkway at DFW Airport,
all lanes to northbound SH 121,
westbound SH 114 and IH-635 will move to
the left onto detour pavement.
Associated closure during the switch:
Full highway closure on northbound
International Parkway north of DFW
Airport.

in the correct lane BEFORE exiting the
parking control plaza (north exit).
Message boards will be in place to help
direct traffic.
The $1.02
billion DFW Connector project is
currently nine months ahead of schedule,
with a completion date of late 2013. The
project is being built under a
comprehensive development agreement (CDA)
between TxDOT and NorthGate
Constructors.
