Street to Introduce NuVal Nutirition Scoring
System
As part of its ongoing commitment to
health and wellness, United Supermarkets, is
making it even easier for Market Street
guests to “trade up for health” while
shopping with the NuVal™ nutrition scoring
system.

As the first
grocery chain in Texas to
implement NuVal, United is
enhancing the program even
further within all Market Street
stores, by adding “Dietitian’s
Top Picks” – personal favorites
selected from the top 10 percent
in each category based on NuVal
scores. These selections will be
highlighted with easy-to-read
signage. Please see below to
find a sample aisle tag for the
new program. |
Additionally,
Market Street offers weekly tours with
registered dietitians to help guests
learn how to best support their specific
dietary needs and achieve their health
goals. Guests can view the schedule and
register online or in stores for tours
which will cover a variety of nutrition
topics, including:
• Healthy Shopping 101
• Easy Diabetes Shopping
• Healthy Heart Cart
• Hunt for Good Nutrition (kid-friendly)
• What Can I Eat? (food allergies and
intolerance)
