Copies of the emails sent to the mayor and council
members regarding document from 1998.

Donna, thanks for responding to my email so quickly. I do have one more question, though. You also stated at the October 2 meeting that "Huitt Zollar strongly recommended and emphasized the need for Colleyville to hold public meetings with our business owners stating and I'll quote; "the medians can have a negative impact on abutting businesses"". Could you tell me what document that statement appears in? I can't find it in the Huitt Zollar study that the city provided LNO. Thanks.

Hi, Brad. I missed the October 2 council meeting, but I've listened to the tapes. You made a comment at the meeting that I'd like to ask you about.  You said "the idea that the city back in 1998 would get a recommendation from the engineering firm to hold public hearings and not do it at that time is unforgivable". It was my understanding that LNO had been given copies of all files dealing with the medians, but I can't find a remark like that in any of the 1998 documents I have. Could you let me know where you saw that so I can ask for a copy of it? Or if you could fax it or email it to me, that would be fine, too. My fax number is 817-329-0448. Joe, in your letter to the editor today you referenced a study that the city commissioned in 1998 which recommended public meetings with business owners relative to the medians installed on Highway 26. I have been unable to obtain a copy of a study with that particular recommendation. Could you please provide me with a copy of what you have based your statement upon? I requested this same information from Mayor Arp and Councilman Rice a week ago and have received no response. Thank you for your assistance.
