George and Consuela Teague moved to the Dallas area in 1999 and then to Southlake in April 2000.  They met at school in Alabama, have been married for almost 9 years and have two children.  Uniquely Jada, their store located at 2040 Glade Road in Grapevine, was named after their youngest child, a daughter.  The store opened in February of 2001 and was something that Consuela had wanted to do for some time.  Her interest in lingerie was motivated in part by her mother's needs.  

"My mother was a "J" cup and always had a difficult time finding a store that sold that size.” stated Consuela.  "We carry everything from an "A" to a "J" cup and lingerie from petite XS to 5X.  We try not to order from any company that cannot offer all sizes.  We don't want to tell a client that we can't get their size."  continued Consuela.  They have recently started carrying some casual wear as well.

However, Consuela is not the only expert in the family.  This is a joint effort between her and her husband, Dallas Cowboys safety, George Teague.  He has taken a very active role in the company.  "This has been a learning process for me.  I wanted to be involved in the overall business, including the buying.  I have had to learn about the type of fabrics, the care, how it will lay and several other areas."  stated George.  

Consuela added, "It has been very interesting seeing him learn all of the facts about lingerie and bras.  He knows about the different types of lingerie, by name, and the different aspects of bras."  She continued, "I have to admit that I was a little worried at first when he said he wanted to be involved with the buying.  I wasn't sure what he would purchase, but I have been impressed with the items that he has brought in.  They are very elegant as well as sexy."  George said  “I felt that it was important to have a male perspective involved.  There is a big difference between sexy and tacky."

They are currently working on a website for their clients.  Everything you see on the site will be available in the store, try on and to buy.  They have a warehouse in Southlake stocked with the products so most of the time there is immediate delivery, even if an item is not in the store.  

All the associates are also certified bra fitters.  You may not take this seriously until you learn that 80% of all women wear the wrong size bra.  "We try to teach as well as provide comfort." they state.  Consuela continued to say, "We have women that come in and say I am this size and have been this size since high school.  I try to explain to them that just as in woman's clothing, you may wear a certain size in one brand but a different size in another brand."  

They will make an appointment with you to give you that extra attention, and they will meet you when you need to meet.  They will stay late or can even come to you.  That is something that you do not find very often these days.  The client is truly first for them.

This is proven by their dedication to continue to provide more for their clients.  They are currently in the process of building a foundation to work with mastectomy patients.  They are attending seminars and training to fully understand the needs of this special clientele.
