The Campfire Council for Boys and Girls held its 4th annual fund raiser at the Texas Motor Speedway.  This year's theme was Stars and Cars.  A number of local residents attended the event, including taking part in the Legend's Car racing activities.

Kim Gill of Colleyville, contributed $1,000 to charity for the privilege of racing against the celebrities.  Kim surprised the approximate 300 fans attending the event when he won his race against more experienced drivers, including Nascar Truck Driver David Star.

Kim Gill of Colleyville looks the part of a race car driver and became the top rookie driver when he won his very first Legend's Car event.
