Members of the GCISD Gymnastics Teams held a fund raising car wash last weekend raising over $700. Coach Amy Cartwright today announced that team members voted to donate $200 of the money to the American Red Cross, specifically to help those needing assistance from the events in New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia. This was especially heart-warming since the fledgling team in only its third year of existence has many basic needs of its own for the coming season.

ACTION FROM THE CAR WASH

Team members Amanda Gadbois and Brittany Beadle urge motorists to stop and have their car washed.	Sarah Coplen and Wes Holzapfel cleaned this Jaguar while the customer dined in Mimi’s Café. Mimi’s Café generously donated the water and their property to this great cause.
