Colleyville Parks and Recreation Department has the following programs and activities taking place this summer for all ages.

State Softball Tournament

City of Colleyville Parks and Recreation will be hosting the 2001 TAAF Girl’s 14 and Under Fast-Pitch State Softball Tournament, July 13-15 at Colleyville City Park.

This tournament will attract Girl’s Softball teams throughout the state.  For more information call 817.656.7275. 

Tennis

Date:             Monthly sessions

Location:         Colleyville City Park

Ages:             4-adult                         

Tennis lessons and programs are offered on a monthly basis for all ages
   and all levels.

Skyhawk Mini-Hawk Summer Sports Camp

Date:              July 30-August 3

Location:          Colleyville City Park

Time:              9:00 a.m.-noon           

Fee:               $86

Ages:              4-7

The Mini-Hawk camp teaches youth the fundamentals of basketball, soccer and baseball in a fun setting with committed, trained and caring staff.

 Skyhawk Baseball and Softball Summer Sports Camp

Date:               July 16-20

Location:           Colleyville City Park

Time:               8:00 a.m.-noon           

Fee:                $92

Ages:               6-12

Skyhawk baseball and softball programs are committed to teach the beginner and intermediate players the necessary skills to participate in organized baseball and softball leagues. 

 Skyhawk Basketball Summer Sports Camp

Date:                 July 23-27

Location:             TBA

Time:                 8:00 a.m.-noon           

Fee:                  $92

Ages:                 6-12

Skyhawk Basketball participants will enjoy a week filled with learning the fundamentals and new tactics while refining their passing, shooting and dribbling skills. 

 Skyhawk Roller Hockey Summer Sports Camp

Date:                 July 23-27

Location:             Colleyville City Park

Time:                 8:00 a.m.-noon           

Fee:                  $92

Ages:                 6-12

Skyhawk participants will learn the proper hand, stick and skating techniques, and the necessary skills in order to compete on the next level.  Participants must bring their own stick, helmet, elbow and kneepads, skates, mouthpiece and athletic shoes. 

 Skyhawk Flag Football Summer Sports Camp

Date:                  July 30-August 3

Location:              Pleasant Run Practice Soccer Fields

Time:                  8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.           

Fee:                   $86

Ages:                  6-12

Flag football offers a safe and fun alternative for participants.  Players will learn the rules of the game, and the fundamentals while working on team plays and sportsmanship. 

 Science Camps

Date:                  June 4-July 27

Location:              Colleyville Elementary School

Time:                  9:00 a.m.-noon (half day)    
                       9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (full day)

Fee:                   $145 (half day)                     
                                              $230 (full day)

Ages:                  K-6 grade

Join us for an outstanding science learning experience in a fun, day camp setting.  Four different camps are offered (Fabulous Physics, Space and Rocketry, X-Treme Science, and Wings and Flying Things).  This is our third year to offer these popular, well-attended camps.  Register today, limited enrollment.
