Receives Bomb Threat Today
at approximately 12:35 p.m., Grapevine High School received a bomb
threat by phone. We immediately implemented our Crisis Plan and
did a physical search of the building both inside and out and a trace on
the phone line. At the time we completed the sweep, we had
knowledge of where the phone call originated. Within five
minutes we had the phone and the perpetrator in the office.
He stated that the threat was a prank. His discipline will be
handled by both the district and the police department. The
district intends to pursue this matter to its fullest extent.
