Dawn
Reiser is seen running from the Colleyville Justice Center
after being released on $150,000 bond on June 24,
2004. Police records reveal the Reiser had been
arrested on a complaint that began on June 18, 2004 by the
CEO of a Christian camp for children. |
A 14 year old approached Micah
Kinard, a 19 year old camp counselor and told him that he and his
teacher Dawn were sexually involved. After being reported to
Officer Cheryl Ingalsbe of the Colleyville PD the letters were
examined. The letters contained verbiage about how the
writer loved and missed him. The child's mother examined a
photo sent in one of the letters and identified the photo as that
of Dawn Reiser. The child was interviewed on June 21, 2004
by Detective Carl Coates of the Grapevine PD. It was learned
that the child had been talking to Reiser by telephone and
computer without his mother's knowledge. The child said that
Reiser picked him up and drove him to Reiser's home located at
2500 Bayberry in Euless where she performed a sex act on him.
In the Affidavit for Arrest, the child described how Reiser told
him that she loved him and they could get married when he turned
18 years old.
A complete copy of the Affidavit for Arrest is available in PDF.

that specific items were being searched for including; black silk
ties, bottle of warming lotion, stationary and envelopes with
imprinted flowers, stationary with multi colored hearts imprinted
on the bottom of the paper and security envelopes.
