COLLEYVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MOVED TO MONDAY, JULY 2, DUE TO HOLIDAY

Colleyville City Council will hold their first regular meeting of July on Monday, July 2. It was moved forward one day due to the holiday. The regular meeting will commence at 7:30 p.m. following an executive session at 6:45 p.m. Executive session items include discussions about property acquisition, the proposed sale of city owned property on Colleyville Boulevard, and the city manager executive search.

Public hearings will be held and potential action taken on the following items: an ordinance amending the contract between the City of Colleyville and The Village at Colleyville for public improvements; a Special Use Permit for an accessory building at a residence in Chelsea Park; and adoption of the annual budget for the Colleyville Crime Control and Prevention District.

In other business, the first of two public hearings will be held to consider a zoning change requested by Raman Chandler on 43.892 acres located on McDonwell School Road. The ordinance would change the zoning from PUD-C for institutional use to PUD-R (Planned Unit Development-Residential) and CC2 Shopping Center. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial of the request in a 4-2 vote on June 11. (Click Here to See related story in LNO archives dateline June 12, 2001.)
