Mayor Arp will present Proclamations to the City of Colleyville faith-based leaders.

Mayor Arp will present a Proclamation to Chief Mike Johnston designating May as Trauma Awareness Month and May 20-26, 2001, as Emergency Medical Service Week.

3. READING AND PUBLIC HEARING – Resolution R-01-1791 Consent Items:

a.  Approval of minutes of the regular City Council meeting of April 17, 2001

b.  Approval of an updated Interlocal Agreement with the jurisdictions of Tarrant County to provide reciprocal Mutual Aid for Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services

c.  Approval of setting a date for a public hearing concerning a request by Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District to move a portable classroom building from Colleyville Middle School to Colleyville Elementary School at 5800 Colleyville Boulevard, Case G-01-006

d.  Approval of renewing the grounds maintenance contract to Landscape Resources, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $284,180.28

e.  Approval of a construction contract with S.L. Sibert Company, Inc., for the Colleyville 2000 Waterline Improvements in the amount of $615,911

f.  Approval of the vacation and abandonment of a 2 ½’ x 70’ portion of the rear drainage and utility easement on Lot 4, Block 10, of Ross Downs Estates IV, 6707 Kennedy Drive, requested by Jules and Claire Dana, Case G-01-007

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

4. SECOND READING AND PUBLIC HEARING – Ordinance O-01-1276 – Special Use Permit for a Laundry/Dry Cleaning Plant requested by Howard and Viola LaFevers, on Lot 2, Block 1, C-D Subdivision located at 6515 Colleyville Boulevard, Case Z-01-007

5.  FIRST READING AND PUBLIC HEARING – Ordinance O-01-1277 – A Zoning Change requested by Matt Torbitt, Mady Development, L.P., from AG to PUD-R on 8.44 acres located at 3308 – 3316 Glade Road, Strathmore Addition, Case Z-01-008

6. READING AND PUBLIC HEARING – Resolution R-01-1792 – Approval of a Resolution to accept membership in the Cities Aggregation Power Project, Inc., and approve the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws of said corporation
