Rick
Stacy was elected mayor in 1996 and re-elected in 1997 and
2000. He previously served on the Southlake City Council
from 1986 until 1988. Stacy recently was reappointed as a
City Council representative to the Southlake
Park Development Corporation board of directors and
was appointed as City Council representative to the
Southlake Library Foundation.
Stacy is a lifelong
resident of the Southlake-Grapevine area. He and his wife,
Diane, have four children and were active in Carroll ISD
events when their children attended school. Upon
graduating from Grapevine High School, Stacy received an
engineering scholarship from General Motors and majored in
industrial management. He is the owner of Stacy Home
Furnishings in Grapevine.

steers, collects antique cars and enjoys golf. |

Rex
Potter and his wife, Sandy, moved back to Texas with their
son and daughter in 1992. He was elected to the City
Council in May 1999 having held various community-related
responsibilities including Chairperson of Stone Lakes
Homeowners Association, Chairperson of SPIN,
and Vice-Chairperson of the Planning
and Zoning Commission.
Potter graduated from
Western Hills High School in Fort Worth, received an
Undergraduate degree in Business Management from Texas
A&M University, and received his Masters in Business
Administration degree from Washington University in Saint
Louis, Missouri.
Potter has worked for the
Lockheed Martin Corporation and its heritage companies for
more than 20 years. His current position is Manager,
Business Ventures at the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics
Company in Fort Worth, where he is extensively involved in
the pursuit and capture of new aerospace business. His
experience includes the fields of contracts, estimating,
financial analysis and strategic alliances. |

Keith Shankland
was elected to the City Council in June 2000. He
previously served on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
On June 20, he was appointed as a City Council
representative on the Southlake
Drug and Alcohol Awareness Committee and as the City's
official liaison with the Dallas/Fort Worth International
Airport for the DFW Noise Forum and related matters.
A pilot with American Airlines for the
past 15 years, Shankland recently received the Spirit of
American Award for his life-saving actions during two
crisis situations that threatened planes he was flying. In
1996, severe windshear turned his aircraft perpendicular
to the ground three times as he took off from D/FW
Airport. In 1999, an engine exploded as he was taking off
from San Diego's airport and he diverted to the Marine Air
Base at Miramar.

Ralph
Evans, a 35-year resident of Southlake, was elected to the
City Council in May 2001. He previously served on the City
Council twice, from 1988 to 1992 and again from 1993 to
1999. He also has served on the Planning and Zoning
Commission, the Zoning Board of Adjustment, and the 1987
Charter Review Committee.
Evans and his wife of 44 years,
Linda, have three adult children and four grandchildren.
He is retired from a career in the insurance and mortgage
banking industries and is active at White's Chapel United
Methodist Church, where he has served on the administative
board since 1993. |

Greg
Standerfer was elected to the City Council in May 2000,
filling the remaining one year on a vacated term, and was
re-elected for a full term in May 2001. He is a council
representative to the Joint
Use Committee.
Standerfer and
his wife, Stacie, have lived in Southlake since 1982. They
have three children -- Courtney, Maddie and Max. He is a
founder of the Moseley & Standerfer law firm.
The Standerfers
are members of White's Chapel United Methodist Church in
Southlake, where he is a member of the Administrative
Board and the Pastor/Parish Relations Committee and also
chaired the church's capital campaign. |

Tom Stephen was elected to the

Accountant with an office in Southlake Town Square. He and
