FBLA members of the Southlake Carroll Chapter won high recognition at the State Leadership Conference held on March 1-2 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Fort Worth. 

Christopher Yust took first place in Accounting I and Branden Roark took fifth place in Accounting I. Lauren Zak placed fourth in Computer Applications. Shannon Richarme took first place honors in Word Processing I and Erin Bodily took second place honors in Word Processing II. The competition was part of a two-day program for FBLA-PBL members from around the state. Students who placed either first or second have qualified to compete at the National Leadership Conference to be held in Nashville, TN on June 29-July 2. For more than 55 years, FBLA-PBL, Inc. has helped high school, middle level and post secondary students successfully make the school-to-career transition. FBLA-PBL produces results, including: character and leadership, good citizenship, financial management skills and global marketing knowledge.
