Bike to School

The Colleyville Police Department Bicycle Patrol Unit is available to teach and demonstrate safe bicycle riding techniques to students.

With school starting up soon many children will use bicycles as their primary method of getting to class on time.  Some of these children may not know the laws that affect bicycle operation on public streets.  Officer Bob and Officer Kevin will be glad to coordinate a Bicycle Safety Rodeo for your PTA, Day-Care, Church or other youth organization. 

With a little help from parent volunteers we can teach basic safety and traffic laws to children and have fun while doing it.  The children get a certificate of achievement and other police safety handouts.

Let us all work together to make the Kids of Colleyville safe bicycle riders.
