The Colleyville City Council will conduct a work session tonight from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Colleyville Community Center. The meeting is open to the public. Discussion items will include Capital Improvement Projects (street intersection improvements and railroad crossings), the Colleyville City Hall, Library and Justice Center, and the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District program.

City staff will review for the council the results of recent studies conducted relative to intersection improvements. Limited funding is available for these improvements, and the council is expected to rank the various projects in order of importance to assist staff in planning and implementing the capital improvements.

Hal Sargent of Brinkley Sargent Architects, along with city staff members, will present an overview of the City Hall and Library projects, including design schematics, schedules and construction costs. An overview of the Colleyville Justice Center will also be presented.

Jim Sabonis, Financial Adviser with First Southwest Company, and city staff members will present an overview of the TIF program. The original and current TIF agreements for the Village at Colleyville will be reviewed, as well as an update on current discussions with the developers of the Town Center Project.
