p.m. at the Colleyville Community Center Tuesday, December 18, 2001 – The regular Colleyville City Council
meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. at the City Hall council chambers. The
pre-council session will begin at 5:00 p.m. with interviews for the
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board applicants beginning at 6:00 p.m. A
work session planned for 4:00 p.m. has been postponed. Friday, December 21, 2001 – Last day to apply for the State Highway
26 Advisory Committee, the Historical Preservation Committee, and the
Tree Board (part of Colleyville Proud). Information and applications can
be found on the city website, City Hall will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, December 24 – 25,
2001. Zoning Board of Adjustment and Colleyville Community Center Advisory Committee Positions Open The Colleyville City Council will accept applications through January 8, 2001, at 4:30 p.m. to fill positions on two city boards and committees. Two positions on the Zoning Board Adjustment are to be appointed. One term will expire September 2002 and the other September 2003. The Board acts on requests for variances and special exceptions under the City’s Zoning Ordinance. Meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month, and regular terms of office are for two years. Six positions are to be filled on the Community Center Advisory Committee. The committee reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council on issues related to policies, procedures, and fees; develops plans for the use and marketing of the Center and provides to the council a written report of the Committee’s activities and future plans each year. Terms of office are for two years.
