United Community Bank Will Open
in Colleyville Town Square......by

"Wall Breaking Ceremony was held at 10:00 AM this morning for
United Community Bank. The bank will be the second for the United
group, the first was opened in Highland Village. Lucrecia Boyd is
the Marketing Director (lboyd@unitedcommunity.com)
and Don Johnston is the President of the new local bank (djohnston@unitedcommunity.com).
The bank is expected to open in March 2002 in the Colleyville Town
Center located at 5604 Colleyville Blvd. between Church Street and
Hall Johnson on Hwy 26.
Jennifer Gray Commercial Realty handled the real estate
transaction. Ms. Gray announced there is now only two retail
locations remaining at the Colleyville Town Center. Mr. Johnston
will operate out of the Jennifer Gray Commercial Realty offices until
the construction is completed on the bank.

Construction
on the bank facility is being handled by Classic Concepts of
Hurst, Texas. Alan Curlee, President of Classic Concepts
said as soon as the present tenant completes their relocation
construction of the bank will start.
Mr. Curlee confirmed that he anticipates the construction to be
completed and the bank to be open by March 2002.
Don Johnston, President of the bank said that the bank is
particularly interested in becoming involved in the community. He
pointed out his bank is based on personal relations where you know
your banker, not reach him via an 800 number. |
