Diabetes Research Foundation to Hold Annual Fundraiser...
On
Saturday, June 16, 2001, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
is hosting a one-day fundraiser to help fund research to find a
cure for Type I Diabetes. Click

event, which consists of dinner, live music, silent and live
auctions, has a goal to raise $215,000.
Funding for research is needed because Diabetes and its
complications kill more people than Aids and Breast Cancer
combined. 1.3 million
Texans have diabetes. One
hundred percent of the proceeds from this event go directly to
research thanks to generous underwriting from local businesses and
individuals. Tickets are $45
