Colleyville Lion's Club Distributes $16,900 to Charities

The Colleyville Lion's Club distributed $16,900 to a number of charities at the weekly club meeting held at the Colleyville Convention Center.  Frank Carroll presented checks to the Retina Foundation of the Southwest, Prevent Blindness Texas, Alexander Vision Center of Cook Hospital, and Lion's Eye Bank.

These specific funds were raised during the annual Lion's Fun Run.

Also announcing the Lion's Annual Hole in One Contest the Friday May 5, Saturday May 6 and Sunday May 7th.

Holding up an envelope with $10,000 cash is Lion Treasurer Joe Dupree.  The funds were donated by Lion James Phipps as the amount he personally will donate in matching funds to that amount raised by the club.
