A house fire started today in Colleyville (Wednesday, August 1^st) at 5912 Pleasant Run Road near the intersection of Shelton Road and Pleasant Run Road.  The Colleyville Fire Department received the 911 call at 12:45 p.m. and was on the scene in minutes.  All Colleyville emergency units were involved.  Additional units were called for assistance from the cities of Bedford, Grapevine, Southlake and Keller. A total of 25 firefighters responded.  The firefighters on the scene stated the fire started in the kitchen and was contained in the kitchen; however, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.  The fire was contained by 1:05 p.m., just 20 minutes after the 911 call was received. Fire Marshal Red Bailey is currently making the determination of the damages. There were no injuries or other structures involved.  Colleyville Fire Chief expressed his appreciation to the firefighters from neighboring cities.  He noted that the response to the incident is another example of the excellent mutual aid agreement among the participating cities.
