I guess that willful ignorance doesn’t prevent anybody from sending bigoted comments to this valuable resource of LNO. What would cause anybody to consider a low-traffic assisted living facility to be a “commercial building?” An assisted living facility would also generate far LESS traffic than any restaurant, “family friendly attraction,” or even the current soccer fields. My wife (a nurse), has seen many such facilities in operation, but none have remotely resembled the comments that Connie Worley posted. If people need to complain, why not the unbridled development along Colleyville Boulevard or the residential elimination of Heritage Avenue rather than something that allows our older residents to stay in the area?
