Thank you Nelson, for the honest, fair upstanding, outstanding reporting found on the Local News Only! As a LONG TIME resident of Colleyville, dating back to 1970 when I rode my horse, Blaze, throughout Colleyville. Colleyville was so very small and unknown that the officials shut down Colleyville Blvd. for a stretch from CheekSparger to Brown Trail to allow the Christmas Parade safe passage for the parade participants and the horseback riders, which were many back in the day! Colleyville was inhabited by conservative, country loving, tree loving, space loving residents. As Colleyville became discovered by the left leaning Liberals, Colleyville’s beauty and conservative views were being overtaken by the more vocal liberal theology. However, I am GLAD to ALWAYS KNOW that the Local News Only has ALWAYS stayed strong and Conservative, never wavering like many have done! Thanks to Nelson Thibodeaux’s strong Conservative, fair, honest reporting values, LNO emits a bright shinning light over Colleyville that truly represents what Colleyville has always been; conservative, fair, and honest, in my experience as a LONG time resident of Colleyville! In order to get the truth, I always go to and read what LNO posts!

WE are working on it, we have now been covering news for the past 20 years, may need to find someone who would like to own the franchise.

I know that I was outraged when I saw the dedication to Arp when the library opened. Shortly after I moved to Colleyville in 1989 there was a bond election for the library to be built. Her theatrics, dedication to cronyism and basically corrupt machinations kept the library from actually being built for well over a decade. She and her “pals” delayed any purposeful development of Colleyville for far longer than it should have been.
LNO was a breath of fresh air and cut through all of the political crap. I just wish it was a bigger news site.
