• After only one week on the job as chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, Allen West is already making waves against the political establishment, sounding off against Gov. Greg Abbott’s string of executive orders in response to the Chinese coronavirus, and criticizing moves by some Republican lawmakers to bow to Democrats’ “cancel culture” in removing historical monuments of Confederate soldiers.
• For example… In an interview with Fox and Friends last Friday, West was asked about a similar bill in the U.S. Senate which would rename military bases originally named after Confederate soldiers. West used the opportunity to take aim at “cancel culture” over statues and monuments.
• “We are just responding to this mob, this cancel culture, and as long as we continue to believe we can acquiesce, appease, and compromise with them, it just emboldens them. And so, I would say, ‘Sit in the corner, shut up, and get out of the business of worrying about the names of military installations.’”
• In an interview on Lone Star Politics on Sunday, West took aim at Gov. Greg Abbott’s long string of executive orders in response to the Chinese coronavirus, which have shuttered businesses and threatened individual liberty.
• “One of the things that I believe in is the rule of law and that we are supposed to be governed by our elected officials and not ruled by our elected officials. I’m not too much a fan of executive orders, edicts, mandates, and directives.”
• West also voiced his disapproval with Abbott’s statewide mask mandate and called some of the restrictions levied by government officials “draconian.”
]]>Former Texas Ranger and current law enforcement officer Tim Crabtree files to run for Republican Precinct Chair 3323 against Karl Meeks. Mr. Crabtree threw his hat in the ring at a time when he felt the Republican party needs house cleaning and true leadership. Crabtree said, “I truly enjoy helping people and becoming the Republican Chair for precinct 3323 would allow me to do just that. Being accessible and giving people good information so that when they go to the ballot box they are informed about the candidates and the positions they support”.
If you are a conservative Republican in this Colleyville Precinct, you should know Meeks, the current chairman, was originally appointed to this position by the Tarrant County GOP Executive Committee. On a very short notice, other contenders were notified of the potential appointment but were not able to attend the Executive Committee, due to work related reasons.
Tim and his wife Joy have participated for years in multiple charities across the state of Texas and especially here in the DFW area. Tim and Joy enjoy helping others in need and you’ll find their 3 wonderful children following in their parent’s footsteps by not only helping with volunteer opportunities at CHHS and at University but in the Colleyville community as well.

]]>William Neil “Doc” Gallagher, who promotes his investment business on Christian radio and in books like “Jesus Christ, Money Master,” has been arrested to face first-degree state felony charges of securities fraud and money laundering in Dallas County.
In a related action, the U.S. Securities and Exchange said March 12 it had sued Gallagher in U.S. District Court in Dallas, alleging that in the last five years he fraudulently raised $19.6 million from approximately 60 senior citizens. Gallagher promised he would purchase income-generating assets to provide investors with risk-free returns of up to 8% per year, but the SEC said Gallagher used almost all of the money to pay his personal and business expenses and to make Ponzi payments to certain investors.
The SEC filed its civil complaint under seal on March 7. Gallagher’s assets have been frozen and the federal court appointed a receiver to determine whether money can be recovered for investors.
Gallagher was arrested on state fraud charges on March 8, the Dallas District Attorney’s Office said March 12.
The Dallas District Attorney’s Office is prosecuting Gallagher. The criminal case is the result of a joint investigation by the Dallas DA’s office, the Texas State Securities Board, the Texas Department of Insurance, and the Hurst Police Department.
Gallagher owns Gallagher Financial Group Inc. (GFG), which he advertises as a retirement planning firm.
Neither Gallagher nor GFG are registered with the Texas Securities Commissioner as agents, brokers, or investment advisers.
The criminal investigation into Gallagher and Gallagher Financial Group is ongoing. Investors should contact the Texas State Securities Board for additional information:

]]>A Letter to the Editor by Cindy Miller
(Note: LNO has only confirmed that Mr. Kellar is an inmate in the Texas Prison System; the descriptions are solely that of Ms. Miller)
Tarrant County Resident Convicted for a SECOND Time
You never know who your friends or neighbors are! A costly lesson that my husband Mike Miller has learned. He went into a business venture with Randy Kellar, only to find out after approximately a year and a half, that Randy was embezzling from him. After my husband realized this, he Googled Randy Kellar’s name, and guess what, this wasn’t Randy’s first offense. He had been convicted of a third-degree felony, theft of property for embezzling from Greg Pabich, who was another long-time friend, and had been sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment, probated sentence. This meant, he served no prison time for his previous offense, but was on probation for 10 years!
Just months after his probation ended, he began stealing from my husband’s company. The betrayal we felt was great, as we thought Randy and his wife Judy were our friends. When confronted with the thefts, they stated they would return the stolen funds, but that never happened! Instead they sold their expensive Colleyville home, located at 513 Harmony Lane, moved in the middle of the night and went into hiding. They then purchased a new home in Ft. Worth, under a newly created LLC to avoid detection, and went about their lives living off my husband’s hard-earned money.
I’m happy to report that we found Mr. Kellar, filed charges and he was indicted for his criminal activity. Randy pled guilty and accepted a plea deal in exchange for a reduced prison sentence. Restitution was a mere $50,000, but I guess it’s better than nothing! Randy now sits in a Texas prison serving a 4-year prison sentence for theft of property! TDCJ inmate #02128364, SID# 07203208.
On October 16, 2017 the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles granted Randy parole. Fortunately for our community, it was conditional on him successfully completing an in-prison rehabilitation program for a minimum of 6 months, after which he will be released to parole supervision until his discharge date of April 8, 2021! His rehabilitation program is scheduled to begin sometime in January, 2018, and he’ll be released as early as October of 2018!
Randy’s greed cost my husband and Greg hundreds of thousands of dollars, and allowed him and his family to live lavishly for years! He professed to be a devout Christian, yet was a wolf in sheep’s clothing! He’d quote scripture from the Bible as well as any pastor, yet this wasn’t genuine. Word of advice, be cautious of anyone that seems too perfect and Godly. If they need to tell you how Godly they are, they are probably frauds!

I LOVE the work that this new Mayor, Council, and City Manager are doing in order to preserve the foundation and atmosphere of Colleyville! Thank you for streamlining the financial status of our city and returning her to the “Conservative status” that made her so desirable when we arrived back in the early 70’s. The country atmosphere, wildlife, large lots, and proximity to Dallas and Fort Worth STILL makes her the most desirable city in which to live without the noise of one of the largest airports. DFW airport was not even here when we moved to Colleyville, but THANKS to my Conservative parents, and existing Conservative residents, the large lots, trees, and Colleyville were saved for US to enjoy!!!
